“Lilin’s Brood” Found Film Trailer Terra King January 2, 2016 Featured Slider, Horror Films, Indie News, Media, News, Trailers “Lilin’s Brood.” The ‘found film’ genre has grown over the last several years and I love it. Even J.J. Abrams (“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”) got into the act with his 2008 horror flick “Cloverfield.” Now comes “Lilin’s Brood.” Synopsis for “Lilin’s Brood.” A “New Media” news coverage team (W.H.I.S.T.L.E.) is stranded near a beleaguered brothel in the middle of nowhere; recovered footage will reveal what happens when they encounter a group of women with a terrifying secret. Below you will find a trailer for “Lilin’s Brood” below. Some other excellent ‘found films’ are: “Quarantine” and “Quarantine 2” Based on the Spanish films “rec” and “rec 2.” “Grave Encounters.” There is a part two that isn’t half as good. “V/H/S” and V/H/S 2″ really creepy, not miss them. “Paranormal Activity 1 and 2” “Paranormal Entity” “Diary of the Dead” probably not a film that should be here, but a zombie is a zombie, right? “Haunted Changi” I love love love this film. It’s very scary, but much of the scares are understated…not in your face like “Grave Encounters.” “Lake Mungo” The Australians are getting better and better at horror and this, again, understated film is a good example. “My Little Eye” This film is so underrated. The Canadians do horror almost as well as anyone. “The Blair Witch Project” My favorite of the bunch (I have a ‘Blair Witch’ stick figure tattooed on my right shoulder. I also have to mention an indie short made ‘gorilla style’ (no permission) in Disneyland. It’s set in the Haunted Mansion and is called “Missing in the Mansion.” Check it out.
