25 years-ago, David Lynch and Mark Foster brought forth a very strange, but wonderful little TV show called “Twin Peaks.” Tonight Showtime returns the Lynch/Foster show to cable TV.  The cast includes some of the 90s cast and many new actors in what will probably be a big hit for the cable mega station.

Synopsis for the 90s “Twin Peaks.”

I have no idea.

Synopsis for 2017’s “Twin Peaks”

Even less of an idea.

That’s why the show is strange and wonderful. Everything is a mystery or really odd even when it’s laid out for you.

To figure out the 90s show, check the “Twin Peaks” wiki.

There is also a made for TV movie entitled “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.”  This film is excellent and serves as a prequel and yet not a prequel.

Ummm, Not sure.

So, I will report what I am sure of and that is the cast of this highly anticipated show.

I’m listing the actors that I think would be the most interesting. Actors that are well known are listed with their name.

  • Dana Ashbrook: In addition to being part of the original cast, you may remember Dana from “Return of the Living Dead II.”
  • Sheryl Lee: Sheryl Plays Laura Palmer who sets the whole show into motion.
  • Kyle MacLachlan: The FBI man who is trying to figure it all out through dreams and other assorted weirdness.
  • Everett McGill: You should immediately recognize Everett from the odd/wonderful “The People Under the Stars.”
  • Russ Tamblyn: is an alumni of “West Side Story.” He is also father of “Joan of Arcadia” star Amber Tamblyn.
  • Ray Wise: is a familiar face in indie horror. His work includes “RoboCop and Jeepers Creepers II.”
  • Joe Adler: “The Maze Runner.”
  • Melissa Jo Bailey: “Night of the Living Dead 3D.”
  • Tammie Baird: “Fear the Walking Dead.”

About The Author

Always interested in a good indie film, my taste run towards Horror and documentaries. Rom-coms are my least favorite genre, but I will always take a look for the better good of the site. I've reviewed films for seven years and want to do it for about 20 more...we will see.
