‘Twin Peaks’ 2017 Premiered Sunday on Showtime. The cast includes some of the 90s cast and many new actors in what will probably be a big hit for the cable mega station. Synopsis for the 90s “Twin Peaks.” I have no idea. Synopsis for 2017’s “Twin Peaks” Even less of an idea. That’s why the show is strange and wonderful. Everything is a mystery or really odd even when it’s laid out for you. There is also a made for TV movie entitled “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.” This film is excellent and serves as a prequel and yet not a prequel. Synopsis: Ummm, Not sure. So, I will report what I am sure of and that is the cast of this highly anticipated show. I’m listing the actors that I think would be the most interesting. Dana Ashbrook: In addition to being part of the original cast, you may remember Dana from “Return of the Living Dead II.” Sheryl Lee: Sheryl Plays Laura Palmer who sets the whole show into motion. Kyle MacLachlan: The FBI man who is trying to figure it all out through dreams and other assorted weirdness. Everett McGill: You should immediately recognize Everett from the odd/wonderful “The People Under the Stars.” Russ Tamblyn: is an alumni of “West Side Story.” He is also father of “Joan of Arcadia” star Amber Tamblyn. Ray Wise: is a familiar face in indie horror. His work includes “RoboCop and Jeepers Creepers II.” Joe Adler: “The Maze Runner.” Melissa Jo Bailey: “Night of the Living Dead 3D.” Tammie Baird: “Fear the Walking Dead.” Jim Belushi Richard Beymer: Also a “West Side Story” Alum John Billingsley Wes Brown: “True Blood.” Michael Cera Richard Chamberlain Candy Clark: “American Graffiti.” Larry Clarke Lisa Coronado: “Z Nation”.
